of the wheels I then noticed that the rim tape is from Takasago. The Japanese manufacturer which is now called Excel, is known for their Excel and A60 series and is certainly one of the most renowned rim tape manufacturers.
And just on the KLX rim tapes are installed by this manufacturer, in conjunction with thick steel spokes and cast aluminum hubs results in robust, high quality wheels.
The KLX is delivered with Dunlop D605, a 50/50 tire.
With proper knobby tires
is offroad a sporty, speedy riding a real fun when the 22 hp of the engine at the rear wheel gives everything. If on the other hand one mounts strongly road-oriented tires, then on firm winding ground the riding fun is also not to be underestimated.
