Modifications to the brake system should only be made with sufficient knowledge and only with well-known brand products... It's YOUR LIFE
The brake lever
for the rear brake can be adjusted, also readjust the brake light switch accordingly. On the front brake, only the angle of the brake pump on the handlebar can be changed - that's it. Changing the brake fluid regularly is almost free if you can do it yourself and if you use the correct brake bleeding technique the friction between the brake disc and the pads is reduced when they are not in use.
Regular visual inspection and cleaning is always the right thing to do. After all, it's the brake system that can make the difference between pain or just beads of sweat under your helmet in an emergency.
A brake lever with a different shape
can help with the front brake and the feeling is immediately better. If you use an adjustable lever you will certainly find your personal setting. You have the feeling that the brake is a little delayed or spongy - a better brake line is often the remedy for not too much investment.
But you can get really great results with different brake pads too. However, it is important to note that different types of brake pads have different lifespans, both for the pads and the disc. Not every pad can be combined with every disc.
There is a lot to get out of the brake discs, but it's not as cheap as it used to be and I don't know if the new disc will give me the result I want. Other brake calipers and brake pumps are the final touch.
If you don't have the confidence
to carry out the measures described above yourself, the right way is to go to a specialist. If you have a problem he will be able to help you competently with his experience.
