If none of this helps or the seat is too uncomfortable for longer journeys, then the only thing that helps is personalisation.

There is not much you can change about the seat that easily.
If the seat height is not a problem, but after 30 minutes your butt is on fire a seat pad is a good idea. I have seen everything from sheepskin to inflatable pads. Perhaps not the most attractive solution visually.

You are too short or the KLX is too low
Remove the seat cover, remove some seat foam or add one and staple the seat cover back on. Unfortunately the result leaves a lot to be desired here and there. It is not so easy to remove the same amount of material everywhere to flatten the surfaces well and to get the right proportions.

The seat cover can become too small if seat is raised and when the seat height is reduced unsightly folds or air cavities can occur due to incorrect tension. If you don't want to do it yourself the aftermarket offers some great alternatives to the original seat.
